I would definitely consider a replica before the real thing. First, Rolexes are supremely over-priced. I mean, for heavens sake...it's a watch! But it is hard for me personally to fathom having $8-25K ON MY WRIST. Imagine scraping it against something, or accidentally dropping it, or having some thug rob you of it. Yes, I know...it's not a real Rolex. But there is NO WAY I'd ever put that much money into a watch.
